LeTv Mobiles – Specifications, Features and Prices

Le is a brand of Chinese company LeTv which is one of the largest online video companies in China- similar to Youtube or Netflix. Apart from online video LeTv is also widely known for Internet TV, Smart gadgets, Large screen applications, e-commerce etc. LeTv has recently launched four new smartphones -all powered by Android in India. These are Le 1, Le 1 Pro, Le 1s and Le  Max. Here we will discuss the specs, features and prices of these smart phones

Lets understand the naming first- Le 1 is a mid segment smartphone by Le. Le 1 Pro being a better variant of the same with minor improvements. Le 1s is an upgrade ove Le 1 The Le Max series on the other hand refers to the premium phablet phones.

Le 1

Le 1 features a 5.5 inches LCD screen and is powered by Mediatek Helio X10 octacore processor at 2.2GHz. The RAM is gigantic 3GB and this device is available in 16GB memory variant. The screen resolution is 1080×1920 pixels. Le 1 comes with a 3000mAh battery.  The rear camera is 13MP and front camera is a fair 5MP. The phone is launched with Android 5.0 support.

The custom skin of Le on top is called EUI. The dual SIM phone has one micro SIM slot and one nano SIM slot. The highlight of all the Le phones and that applies to le1 as well is a C-type USB. Le phones are the first phone to come up with type -C USB. But they will be able to make the best of this new feature only after Google’s next upgrade which will include support to type C USB.

Le 1s

Le 1s is a little bigger in dimensions from Le1 and a little lighter as well. Le 1s measures 151.10 x 74.20 x 7.50mm whereas Le 1 is 148.40 x 73.80 x 9.40mm. Le 1s is 9gms lighter than Le 1 at 169gms. The UI skin is upgraded to EUI 5.5 and is available in 32GB variant. The other specifications of Le 1s are same as Le 1.

Le 1 Pro

Le 1 Pro is powered by better Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. The camera is improved at 4Ultra pixels. The RAM has also been upgraded to 4GB. The screen size remains the same as Le 1 – 5.5 inches but improved resolution to 1440×2560 pixels.

Le Max

This phablet by Le features a 6.3 inches screen size. To power this huge screen the battery is appropriately chosen as 3400mAh. The screen resolution of Le Max is 1440×2560 pixels and is powered by 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octacore processor. The RAM is massive at 4GB and comes in 64Gb variant. The rear camera is 21 MP whereas the front camera is impressive 4 Ultra Pixel. Dual SIM features – like micro SIM and nano SIM support is same as that of Le 1 series.

All the phones are available exclusively on Flipkart. The sale follows registration model where one has to sign up to buy the device at specific time.

As per the company’s ad in Hindu dated 28th January 2016, there is also a sapphire variant of Le Max which is available only by invitation at 62,9999(128 GB). We are yet to figure out the reason of double cost of this variant.
