Acer announced two new Snapdragon-powered Windows laptops in India, including the first device from any manufacturer to run Qualcomm’s newly introduced Snapdragon C processor.
The Swift Spin 14 AI sits at the premium end, while the Aspire Go 15 targets budget buyers. Neither device has a confirmed price yet.
Swift Spin 14 AI
The Swift Spin 14 AI qualifies as a Copilot+ PC — Microsoft’s designation for Windows machines with a dedicated neural processing unit capable of at least 40 trillion operations per second. Acer’s model ships with either a Snapdragon X2 Elite or Snapdragon X2 Plus chip, both carrying a neural processing unit rated at up to 80 TOPS.
The machine supports up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. Integrated Adreno graphics handle DirectX 12.2 and hardware-accelerated ray tracing, a rendering technique that simulates how light behaves in real environments.
Acer built the device around a 360-degree hinge, letting it operate as a laptop, a tent-style presentation stand or a tablet. The 14-inch WUXGA IPS touchscreen runs at 120Hz and covers 100 percent of the sRGB colour gamut. It ships with the Acer Active Stylus 420, a Wacom AES 2.0 pen that supports 4,096 pressure levels and tilt detection.
Battery life, by Acer’s own figures, reaches up to 23 hours of video playback or 16.5 hours of web browsing from the 65Wh cell. A 100W USB-C adapter handles fast charging.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, two USB4 Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports and HDMI 2.1. A 5-megapixel infrared camera supports Windows Hello facial recognition. DTS:X Ultra audio processing and Snapdragon Sound — Qualcomm’s end-to-end audio quality standard — are also on board.
Acer confirmed the Swift Spin 14 AI will reach North America in August 2026. Europe, the Middle East and Africa get access from July 2026, and Australia follows in the third quarter of 2026.
Aspire Go 15
The Aspire Go 15 carries the Snapdragon C chip, a platform Qualcomm positioned at the entry-level segment. Acer is the first PC maker to announce a laptop using it.
The device pairs a 15.6-inch Full HD display with up to 8GB of memory and up to 512GB of storage. Its 53Wh battery and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity reflect its budget positioning. Port selection covers USB Type-C, USB Type-A and HDMI, alongside a Full HD webcam and dual speakers.
Acer bundled its AcerSense software, which manages system performance and power settings. The company said the laptop uses recyclable packaging and incorporates recycled materials in its construction.
Acer has not announced a launch timeline or pricing for the Aspire Go 15. The company said configurations and availability will vary by market.
Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon X2 series earlier this year as an update to its Snapdragon X lineup, which the company launched in 2023 to push Arm-based computing into mainstream Windows devices.
