The retailer dropped the tablet’s price within weeks of Samsung raising its official U.S. retail price, making the S10 FE one of the more competitively priced mid-range Android tablets currently on the market.
The discount
Samsung positions the Galaxy Tab S10 FE as its mid-range tablet offering, sitting below the premium Tab S10 series in both features and price.
The device runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and ships with Samsung’s One UI software layer built over Android.
Walmart’s current listing shows the tablet available at a reduced price that effectively reverses Samsung’s recent price adjustment for U.S. buyers who purchase through the retailer.
The price hike context
Samsung raised U.S. prices on several devices in recent months, a move analysts at Reuters have linked broadly to tariff pressures affecting electronics imports into the United States.
The Trump administration’s tariff schedule, administered by the U.S. Trade Representative, has pushed several consumer electronics manufacturers to revise their domestic pricing upward.
Samsung has not publicly detailed the specific rationale behind the Tab S10 FE price adjustment.
The tablet
Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S10 FE in late 2024 as a follow-up to the Tab S9 FE, targeting buyers who want Samsung’s ecosystem at a lower entry point.
It carries a 10.9-inch display, a 10,090 mAh battery, and supports Samsung’s S Pen stylus, which ships in the box.
The base configuration offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with a microSD slot for expansion.
By contrast, Samsung’s Tab S10 series — the non-FE line — starts at a higher price tier and uses Samsung’s own Exynos or Qualcomm chips depending on the market.
The FE designation, short for Fan Edition, signals a cost-reduced build that retains selected features from the flagship line.
