Five Mid-Range Smartphones Set to Launch in India This June

Five mid-range and budget smartphones are scheduled to hit the Indian market in June 2026, following a May dominated by high-end flagships.

Xiaomi 17T

Xiaomi will launch the 17T in India on June 4, having already released the device in European and Southeast Asian markets in late May.

The phone carries a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits of peak brightness. MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Ultra chip powers it, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Its triple rear camera system includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide. A 6,500mAh battery supports 67W wired charging.

Xiaomi has set the expected starting price at around INR 75,000 (approximately $800) for the base 12GB/256GB configuration.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro+

Motorola will also launch on June 4, releasing the Edge 70 Pro+ as the top model in its Edge 70 series.

Motorola listed the device on its official website ahead of launch. It features a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with up to 144Hz refresh and 5,200 nits peak brightness.

The MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chip sits at its core, backed by up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Three 50MP cameras cover the rear, with the primary unit using Sony’s LYTIA 710 sensor; a periscope telephoto delivers 3.5x optical zoom.

Its 7,000mAh battery supports 90W wired and 15W wireless charging. Motorola expects to price the phone at around INR 50,000.

OnePlus 15s

OnePlus plans a global launch of the 15s sometime in June, though the company has not confirmed a specific date.

The device is a rebranded version of the OnePlus 15T, which launched in China earlier this year — a pattern OnePlus repeated previously with the 13s.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is expected to power the 15s, alongside a 6.32-inch AMOLED screen running at 165Hz with 3,600 nits of peak brightness. A dual rear camera setup pairs a 50MP primary shooter with a 50MP telephoto at 3.5x optical zoom.

OnePlus may pack a 7,500mAh battery inside, with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The base 12GB/256GB model is expected to start at around INR 60,000.

iQOO Z11

iQOO is expected to bring the Z11 to India around June 15, following releases in China and Malaysia.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 — a mid-range chip built on a 4nm process — drives the device, which pairs up to 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage. Its 6.83-inch AMOLED screen runs at 144Hz and hits 5,000 nits of peak brightness.

The Z11 carries a 9,020mAh battery, the largest of any phone on this list, with 90W wired charging support. A 50MP primary camera and an auxiliary lens cover the rear.

iQOO expects to price the Z11 under INR 30,000 in India.

Redmi Turbo 5

Redmi is expected to launch the Turbo 5 in India around June 10, carrying the same specifications as the Chinese variant released in January.

The phone uses a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits peak brightness. MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Ultra chip powers it — the same silicon inside the Xiaomi 17T — alongside a 7,560mAh battery with 100W wired charging.

Its dual rear camera pairs a 50MP primary lens with an 8MP ultrawide. Redmi expects the India launch price to start at around INR 30,000.

All five devices ship with Android 16 out of the box.
