How to install CyanogenMod 12.1 Android Lollipop rom on Sony Xperia L
- Turn off the device and wait 3 -5 seconds.
- Now boot into the recovery mode, Turn On the device by pressing Power button and when Notification LED gets up then press Volume Up or Down button (either one works) several times and you’ll be redirected to recovery mode CWM or TWRP.
- Under the recovery mode, select “wipe data/factory reset” and select “yes” on next screen confirm the selection.
- Select “wipe cache partition” followed by “yes” on next screen to confirm the selection.
- Now select “install zip from sd card” then select “choose zip from sd card“, find and locate the downloaded Rom zip file and, select “yes” to begin the installation. It might take several minutes to complete.
- Similarly, install Gapps package.
- Go back to recovery option and select “reboot system now“.
Your phone has been successfully updated and it will boot to newer CyanogenMod 12.1 home screen, enter your account credentials to get started with your phone.
