How to flash stock firmware on Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2018)

  1. Turn off your phone using the power button
  2. Now, boot into download mode. This mode helps to flash stock firmware: press and hold Volume Down, Home and Power buttons all at once till Warning logo appears on the screen
  3. Now, release all the buttons. Press the Volume Up button to enter into Download mode

  7. Now tap on AP button, then navigate to download firmware file, and selectmd5 file from the extracted folder
  8. Don’t make any other changes. Just tap on the Start button to begin the flashing process
  9. Once it is completed, take off your phone from a PC / Laptop, and you’re ready to rock with your smart phone

That’s all you need to do! In that way, we can easily flash the stock firmware on Samsung’s smart phones. Soon, your phone will boot up, and take you to the home screen. There, enter your account details to setup, and use it.

Troubleshooting

Sometime it happens that when we flash the stock firmware, the phone gets stuck in a boot – loop. Means, it won’t start. It stuck at boot screen.

  1. Turn off your phone
  2. Get into →recovery mode
  3. Under recovery mode, perform: wipe cache/factory reset
  4. Tap on reboot system now
